Located north of Moab, this ride leads past dinosaur remains and around massive Courthouse Rock, then across a sandy stretch to the towering buttes called Monitor and Merrimac. You can ride around the monoliths on slickrock then return a different way. Or choose the Fisher Towers area where you’ll be rewarded with a sweeping view of the towers, Castle Rock, the cliff enclosed Richardson Amphitheater, and the Colorado River. This relatively small area is one of the most incredible and spectacular places in the park. Because this area is not a marked trail, the Arches National Park requires that you sign up for a ranger-guided tour. |
