Red Cliffs Lodge Moab Utah
“Moab Utah Best Vacation Spot”
If anyone visits neat Moab Utah, be sure to stay at the Red Cliffs Lodge. This resort is right on the Colorado River, in a valley with giant Red cliffs surrounding. The view is breathtaking! They have a pool, and horses on the property for rent or trail rides. The dining room is great, with an outdoor deck to watch the sun go down while eating dinner. Food is excellent, and reasonable. My only regret is that this place isn't near Boston. If your trip takes you near Moab, be sure to visit this hotel/resort.

“5 stars are not enough!”
This place is a western paradise. Wake up listening to the burbling river and watching the horses munching grass. Then have breakfast in the large sunroom or outside on the deck watching the sun creep up over those beautiful red cliffs. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the afternoon. And at night the shooting stars really put on a show. But that's not all... Super friendly staff, delicious meals, tastefully decorated large rooms with kitchens and even beach towels for the pool. They think of everything! We also enjoyed the wine tasting and film museum. This place has it all.

“One special night”
Our night was one of those nights where everything was special. Unique room, view of the rocks and river from our room and the restaurant, good prime rib, surprisingly good local cabernet, and a rainbow at sunset.

“Great views!”
Stopped here only for one night on a group motorcycle trip. We will definitely be back. The view from our room was unbelievable. There is a winery at the front of the property with some great wines. They also have wine tasting, all the people at the winery were great fun. We booked this place last minute when our plans changed due to weather. Everyone was very helpful in getting us in. They arranged a large table for our group for dinner and the steaks were fabulous. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool area. There is a laundry facility which we used and it was clean. Make sure you go the the museum in the basement of the main lodge.

“Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!”
We planned our most recent Land Rover off road trip in Moab. Being the off road enthusiasts that we are, we were very familiar with Moab and their hotel accommodations. Most recently, we decided to book our 16+ families at the Red Cliffs Lodge. This place is AMAZING! Judy is great to work with and did everything in her power to make everything go smoothly. We enjoyed a warm breakfast at the lodge everyday. They had our bag-lunches ready to go every morning and we enjoyed a great Cowboy Cookout on the patio. Kasey handled our group of 45 + like a champ and there was never an empty glass. Guests loved the views, the food and the organization. A huge thanks to Judy and her team at Red Cliffs Lodge for making it a great off road weekend! We will be back.

“Perfection! Next time will stay longer”
During our trip to the Grand Circle National Parks in Utah, we were lucky enough to stay at the Red Cliff Lodge. If you are looking for a luxurious stay right on the river in proximity to Arches and Canyonlands while feeling like you stepped into a John Wayne movie (because you really have), then come here. We particularly enjoyed the sunset horseback rides, Negro Bill's hike, river rafting trip, movie museum, and restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. My only regret was were didn't book more days. Best place in Moab for a family vacation or a getaway weekend for rest and relaxation. Also, food was fantastic and not over-priced, so why go anywhere else!

“Magnificent lodge”
The lodge is right on the Colorado River in the Canyonland National Park. The Arches National Park is nearby. Rooms are clean and a good size. The food was great and there is a local winery on the grounds. There is also a nice pool and spa. The sunrise and sunsets were magnificent. I would definitely recommend staying here.

“Well worth the money and more”
We spent two days at this lodge and had a wonderful time. The rooms were more than we expected and the people there were outstanding in service and humor. We will be back for a longer stay and enjoy the scenery that's nowhere to be found except here. The food was very good and we views we had from our room were great. I can't say enough about this lodge or the people that work there. We stayed in the 100 block of rooms and were delighted with everything.

“Didn't stay long enough....”
The lodge is right on the Colorado River underneath the beautiful red rocks of Moab. The location is perfect for hiking in Arches and Canyonland National Parks. The food was great and local wine good. There is a beautiful pool and spa on location. We were there during a full moon which was beautiful over the mountains and the sunrise and sunsets were magnificent. I would definitely recommend staying here!

“Amazing place, amazing room, amazing surroundings”
After a day on the road and in the Arches national park with +40C, we were dreaming of swimming and we arrived at the Red Cliffs Lodge, we checked in and had a beer watching the breathtaking surrounding scenery... we then went to the pool and this was heaven... The restaurant is also great and the food was outstanding and don't miss their red wine (produced locally), which is excellent!!

“Great place, 14 miles from Moab”
We booked a room for our family, 6 people. We have had 3 fantastic days in this place. Our little house was just in front the Colorado river with an extraordinary view. We got up early to visit Canyonlands, Arches National Park and do some Rafting. Then we came back to Redcliffs around 3-4PM to have fun around the pool and have a fantastic dinner in front of a magic landscape. Everything we did in this place was really great!

“Fabulous Resort”
We stayed 3 nights at this amazing resort. The reviews we read were spot on. If you want a way to experience the amazing place that Moab is, this is the resort for you. We stayed in a River King Suite and the views were amazing. The staff was very friendly, restaurant served good quality food for the price, and there is even a winery on site to taste and purchase wine. We traveled with our two kids, age 8 and 10. They enjoyed swimming in the pool and playing tetherball. We would highly recommend this resort.

“Amazing!!!”
This lodge will not disappoint! Beautiful southwest rooms with great beds, small kitchen, and wonderful bathrooms. Individual patios facing the Colorado River! It also has a pool and hot tub for guests. Wine tasting on the property. Great little museum of the area. The restaurant serves delicious foods for breakfast or dinner at very reasonable prices. The property is located several miles outside of Moab and is very secluded and quiet. I use it as my get-away from the city quite a bit!

“Highly recommend, best location in the valley AND great rooms and amenities”
We really enjoyed being there, with he horses in the morning, at our backdoor, with a nice wheat beer on the porch overlooking Colorado River, with a glass of Local Red (Castle Creek) sipping on the door to the museum, that goes for free and has been assembled with great focus on detail covering the history of film making in Moab (John Wayne, etc)

“Red Cliffs Lodge”
Red Cliffs is set in a vast area. The setting is stunning and the view from the restaurant is fantastic. Unfortunately we only had 2 nights here. One day we spent hiking in Arches National Park but we wished we had another day to spend on the Colorado River as there were various activities available. These included Kayaking, tubing, rafting etc. The Ranch also has a pool, which is was lovely to come back to after a days hiking!

“Red Cliffs Rocks!”
Red Cliffs Lodge was exactly what we were looking for - a little bit off the beaten track and in an absolutely beautiful setting along the Colorado River. We enjoyed the onsite restaurant and winery, horseback riding and river rafting. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the moderately priced rooms - perfect space. Can't wait to visit again.

“Best Road Trip Ever 2014,”
We found Red Cliff Lodge on line and thought this looked pretty nice from there pictures, let's just say the pics didn't do the lodge justice. This place is AWESOME, totally more then we expected. We were greeted with open arms, the staff was very helpful and willing to do what ever they could to make our stay enjoyable. Clean rooms, food was great oth dinner and breakfast. We did a horse back trail ride, and rafting trip that were both set up by the ladies at the front desk. The Arches National park is about 30 minutes from the lodge, which the drive was just beautiful around every corner was another Kodak moment. Oh yea, the museum about the movie history shot there at the lodge and surrounding area is terrific as well. Rate our stay a definite 10+ Thanks to all at the Red Cliff Lodge

"Awestruck by Awesome Lodge”
Words can hardly describe the majesty of this location. The physical setting is breathtakingly spectacular. Every view in every direction is stunning. Pictures do not do the place justice. Standing on a manicured lawn or lounging in the pool while looking over the Colorado River would be idyllic by itself. Add to that the massive red cliffs and the unearthly rock formations and the scene becomes truly magical. If that were not enough, the lodge provides world-class amenities that enable guests to enjoy the mystical surroundings in rustic luxury. The lodge also offers a range of activities from liesurely to adventurous. The owner, Colin Fryer, has developed a little slice of heaven in this rugged western setting. His family and attentive staff will make sure you are delighted by every aspect of your stay. Put this place on your bucket list.

“Wonderful, family friendly hotel.”
My husband and I stayed in a Creekside queen suite with our daughter and our three grandchildren. We loved the beautiful setting and all the activities the resort offered. The grandkids especially loved the pool. We ate in the restauraInt twice. The food was delicious! My husband and I especially liked the Cowboy Museum featuring John Wayne movies. So many of his movies were made in this area. The free wine tasting was enjoyed also. Over all the Red Cliffs Lodge was great!

“Loved Every Minute”
What a great place to spend a few days. Fantastic service, spacious rooms, delicious food, interesting movie museum. And of course, a stunning location. We would recommend it for families or couples. We booked River rafting and horseback riding, too. A lot of fun.
GAgirls2 Chesapeake, Virginia, Jul 16, 2014

“Absolutely Love”
Stayed at the Red Cliff lodge for the weekend and we absolutely loved it. The rooms are spacious and clean. Dinning at the Red Cliff Restaurant is a must, the food is delicious. No better place then the Red Cliff in Moab.

“Hands Down Best Place in Moab”
My family of 4 stayed in a 2 bdrm cabin along the Colorado River. You will not find any lodging in Moab with a comparable view! We enjoyed the amenities: swimming pool, tetherball, horseshoes, horseback riding, winery, museum. Restaurant was great. The staff at both restaurant and hotel was very accommodating, always greeting us with a smile and great service. Can't wait to come back.
Jill F Mendon, Massachusetts, Jul 5, 2014

“Straight out of the movies”
Loved our 2 night stay at Red Cliffs Lodge. Huge room, kitchenette area, patio where we could watch the horses in the early morning and the stars at night. Very friendly staff. Great food and river views on the patio dining area. Used the laundry facilities and pool and visited the movie museum and the winery. Great location right on the Colorado river with amazing views and close to La Sal mountains, Arches and Moab. Would have like to have stayed longer.
triumphsprint56 Aberdeen, Scotland, Jul 1, 2014

“FANTASTIC! Not to be missed when in Moab.”
This hotel has everything. Excellent accommodation, fantastic location, views to die for, the Colorado River running next to it, excellent service, food fantastic, loads of things to do such as white water rafting, wine tasting, horse riding, mountain biking, and you can get married there in the most outstanding setting. What more can I say. We couldn't fault it. We wished we could have stayed there for longer than our tour had allowed. What a fabulous place. Moab itself is just the most breathtaking place. Scenery is out of this world. If you go anywhere in your life, choose Moab and the Red Cliffs Lodge. You won't be disappointed!

“One of the best places on earth!”
We have just returned back home after spending 9 days at the Red Cliffs Lodge. It is a magical place; relaxing and adventurous at the same time. We were in king and queen cabins which are right on the Colorado River and the accomodations could not have even better. All the service people from front desk, to housekeeping, to dining staff and horse wranglers were friendly and helpful. They all wanted us to have a great time which we did. The food was excellent and the views from the dining deck were outstanding. We cannot say enough good things about the place and are planning to go back in October.
Donald A Jamison, United States, Jun 25, 2014

“Phenomenal”
The Views as well as service were phenomenal, it was well worth the trip. The view of walking into the rooms was just amazing, having two queen beds, little kitchenette, terrace looking over at a pasture with horses running around in the morning. Absolutely amazing trip.

“Red Cliffs Resort”
A great place to stay. Lovely room, a few yards from the river. Dinners at the restaurant were outstanding. Great steaks, good wine, and superb service. Nice afternoon horseback ride. Just a first class resort in a magical location.

“Birthday weekend at Red Cliffs”
This place was amazing! The view off our back patio was spectacular: the Colorado river & border of Arches National Park. Checked out their winery, Old Western Movie museum, Cowboy Grill food (they even personalize food orders to best suit your needs & wishes)! Scenic drive to get there, nearby Potash road petroglyphs & great hikes @Arches. One of the best places I have ever stayed at.

“My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Red Cliffs Lodge in one of their guest cabins located within fifty feet of the winding Colorado River. On the other side of the cabin was a large pasture where cows and very friendly horses grazed. Towering above us was the red rock cliffs of the outskirts if the Arches National Park. The lodge housed it’s own winery producing Castle Creek wine, a museum, a tribute to all of the old westerns filmed in that area, a restaurant offering a great selection for you to chose from with a great view of the Colorado, an olympic size pool that should have been at 90 degrees, but was cool and refreshing, a fitness center, a laundry and an opportunity to go horse back riding. You could dine in your cabin, which had all of the amenities one needed to prepare a meal, or visit the restaurant then grab a bottle of their wine and sit in front of the gas fireplace watching an old western on TV as the Colorado river rolls by outside the sliding glass door. Mother nature created a stunningly beautiful location and the owners of the lodge created a warm, friendly, and relaxing atmosphere for their guests to stay in. If you are going to visit the Moab area Red Cliffs Lodge is a must.” - pattybiggs
